Matthew Aroh is a dynamic Nigerian entrepreneur, business strategist, and author, known for his vision of building a diversified and sustainable conglomerate. He is the Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of Romat Group, a fast-growing enterprise with strategic interests across transportation, agriculture, energy, and technology.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from the University of Benin, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University. His MBA research focused on Succession Planning and Sustainability of Family-Owned Businesses in South East Nigeria, reflecting his deep interest in long-term enterprise continuity and generational wealth creation.
Matthew is also an accomplished author. His literary work, Diary of Regrets, has gained national recognition and has been approved by the National Examination Council (NECO) for BECE (2028–2031), underscoring his intellectual and creative influence. He is also the author of the business guide Fundamentals of Building Group of Companies (Mistakes & Right Approach), where he shares practical insights into entrepreneurship, corporate structuring, and growth strategy.
As Group CEO, Matthew leads Romat Group with a clear vision of building an integrated ecosystem of companies that deliver value across key sectors of the economy. Under his leadership, the Group has established subsidiaries including Romat Transport Ltd, Romat Agrotech Ltd, Romat Energies Ltd, and Romat Technologies Ltd, each positioned to address critical market needs while contributing to the Group’s long-term growth strategy.
Beyond Romat Group, he serves as Chairman of the Board at Silvercloud Media Ltd, where he provides strategic oversight in media, communications, and public relations. He is also Co-Founder of Omefreight Logistics Ltd, an emerging logistics company with operational presence in Nigeria and Europe, further demonstrating his commitment to building globally relevant African businesses.
